Lijah Naomi Smith-Nicholson, founder of Resume &Writing Solutions, is a resume writer and career consultant who assists job seekers interested in working for the U.S government and private sector alike. Described amongst peers as a subject matter expert regarding Federal & Private sector resumes and career consulting, Smith-Nicholson has worked in this field since 2009, completing an average of 100 resumes per year and is known in federal hiring circles as the "federal resume guru".

Smith-Nicholson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication – Specialty in Public Relations (2003) from Radford University (Radford, VA) and a Technical Writing Certification (2009) from George Mason University, Office of Continuing Professional Education.
